Institutional disclosures

Clear facts for informed educational decisions.

These disclosures explain the University’s current status and important limits on transfer, professional use, financial aid, international study, and location-based enrollment.

Accreditation status

GDICU is not currently institutionally accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. The Department recognizes accrediting agencies; it does not accredit individual institutions or programs. GDICU will not describe itself as accredited, preaccredited, a candidate, recognized, approved, licensed, exempt, or Title IV eligible without current documentary evidence supporting the exact statement.

Religious status and location authorization

GDICU operates as a distinctly Christian religious institution. Authorization or religious-school treatment may vary by program and by the student’s physical location while studying. A religious exemption, where applicable, is not accreditation, and treatment in one jurisdiction does not automatically establish authority elsewhere. GDICU must verify the applicable program and location before enrolling a student.

Transfer and external recognition

No institution, employer, church, denomination, regulator, military program, or other organization is required to accept GDICU credits or credentials. Acceptance may depend on the receiving organization’s policies, accreditation requirements, degree-title expectations, licensure rules, or other standards. Students should obtain their own confirmation when acceptance matters to their plans.

Licensure and regulated professions

GDICU does not represent that its programs satisfy requirements for professional licensure, certification, clinical practice, public-school employment, or another regulated occupation. Christian Counseling is church-based biblical counsel and pastoral care, not clinical diagnosis or psychotherapy. Christian Education is not a state teacher-licensure pathway.

Academic awards and ministry office

A GDICU degree or certificate does not confer ordination, apostolic or prophetic office, an ecclesiastical appointment, employment, or admission to another institution. Academic assessment concerns documented learning and performance—not validation of a student’s spiritual office or ministry title.

Federal and external financial aid

GDICU does not currently participate in federal Title IV student aid programs. Federal grants and federal student loans are not available through GDICU. Any institutional scholarship, church sponsorship, private funding, employer reimbursement, or payment plan is governed by separate written terms and is not guaranteed.

International and immigration considerations

Enrollment in an online GDICU program does not by itself establish eligibility for a student visa, immigration benefit, credential evaluation, or governmental recognition. GDICU does not represent that it may issue Form I-20 or sponsor F-1 status unless a current official notice expressly states otherwise. International students must verify local recognition, online-study rules, payment restrictions, and intended credential use before enrolling.

Controlling documents

Catalogs and enrollment documents govern.

Website summaries support program exploration. The applicable institutionally adopted catalog, Student Handbook, program disclosures, enrollment agreement, tuition and refund schedule, and official dated notices control a student’s requirements. The current catalogs and handbook are available in Academic Resources. The tuition and fee schedule is published. Verified contacts, payment and refund terms, enrollment documents, and dates will be released when their supporting information is complete and authorized for publication.
