Entry by level
Prior study supports an eligibility review. Admission and transfer credit depend on the program requirements and review of your records.
Applicants present secondary-school completion or an accepted equivalent, prior records, a Christian purpose statement, and evidence of college-level readiness.
Applicants need a verified earned bachelor’s, normally with at least a 3.00 GPA or documented equivalent, plus theological writing and field-specific preparation.
Applicants need a verified earned master’s in theology or ministry, at least a 3.00 GPA or documented equivalent, a substantial theological writing sample, a ministry-inquiry statement, ministry endorsement, and at least five years of ministry experience. The institution’s name and the degree title alone do not establish readiness; faculty review the transcript and supporting evidence.
Transfer and institutional study
Submitting a transcript, ministry credential, portfolio, or experience record does not guarantee credit. Undergraduate work cannot become graduate credit, and work already used for an awarded graduate degree cannot be reused for another GDICU graduate degree.
At least 30 of the 120 credits must be completed through GDICU, including all 12 advanced field and capstone credits.
At least half of each certificate and master’s degree must be completed through GDICU. Culminating projects, defenses, and required GDICU-supervised practice must also be completed through GDICU.
Every doctoral credit must be completed through GDICU. An eligible master’s in theology or ministry supports admission review but does not reduce the doctorate. Any faculty-assigned preparatory work is additional to the 36 doctoral credits.
These institutional minimums do not guarantee the maximum possible transfer award. The Registrar records every accepted course and the exact requirement it satisfies.
Your next step
Program enrollment begins only after faculty, course materials, learning resources, technology, student support, financial terms, and applicable authorization requirements are documented and the Founder issues an official release.
